A very fine walnut liquor, that comes from Altomonte’s farmland, from the love of tradition, from a long and loving preparation and from careful attentions. Is the product of our best walnuts, harvested from 24th June, Saint John Day, to 29th June, Saint Peter Day, in the exact moment of the year when the moon is favorable.
The secret of its flavor is held in rules that are known from centuries to us and to other usual familiar names. Many are the ways to taste the nocino, but it is excellent especially with no ice, at its natural flavor. A real passion.
Nocino liquor, obtained from infusion and not distillation, could present, if left in a vertical position, a sedimentation of the particles that compose it. We suggest to turn the bottle upside down one or two times before tasting.
